Delaney De Vere has spent most of her life far away from normal high school life. She was homeschooled, had few friends, and never had the chance to experience parties, school drama, or teenage romance. Everything changes when she starts attending Pine Ridge High under the fake name Delaney Davis. She wants a fresh start, but hiding her real identity quickly becomes much harder than she expected.

Delaney is not an ordinary new student. She is a talented soccer player who wants to join the school team, even though Pine Ridge does not have a girls' soccer program.
